.Ghana’s ever rising rapper, Sarkodie chalked two nominations including Best Male Video, and Video of the Year for ‘Illuminati’. He was however abscent in the Best Hiphop category. R2bees also had two nominations for their collaboration with Wizkid, ‘Slow Down’, namely Best west Africa Video and Best Group/Feature Video’. Channel O, the 17 year old pioneer African music video platform, announced the nominees for the 2014 edition of the Channel O Music Video Awards today! This year’s show will take place on Saturday, 29 November at Nasrec Expo Centre in Soweto.
