MTN Hitmaker Finale Slated For Oct.5!

Come Friday October 5, the Accra International Conference Centre will witness an unprecedented show in the history of music reality shows in Ghana.
Four untapped musical talents will be competing for a GH¢100,000 cash prize as well as a year’s promotional package. The first runner-up would also walk home with GH¢50,000 and a year’s promotional package.

Naterial, Chiki, Atimbila and Miriam are the final four contestants who made it to the grand finale happening October 5. The unique feature that sets this reality competition apart from any other is that, the contestants have always performed their own songs and the finale would not be any different.
Indeed, for the 12 or so weeks of keenly contested competition, MTN has sponsored the talents to record professionally produced songs week after week. They each will be walking away with a complete album produced and registered in their names—a novelty that has never happened in the history of music reality shows in Ghana.

Ivan Quarshiga, head of Farmhouse Productions, organizers of the entire production promises the night to be one of unforgettable experience as contestants will be allowed to perform with their mentors; Naterial would be rocking the stage with Samini; Chiki would be performing with Guru; Atimbilla with Kwaw Kese and Miriam with Ohemaa Mercy.

Judges for the competition  Bessa Simons, seasoned producer , keyboardist who and vice president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Ofie Kodjoe, renowned singer and composer, and Zapp Mallet, Ghana’s celebrated sound engineer and producer will be present for the final showdown.
